We will strive to support individuals and businesses that have an interest in Western Noble County. We accomplish our mission through opportunities involving networking, resource connection, civic and social event promotion, and marketing of the Ligonier Chamber of Commerce and community. Our leaders, volunteers, and staff will focus on maximizing our resources with integrity and forethought, while increasing new memberships and retaining our valued existing members. We will commit to remaining flexible in our operating methods to ensure we can adequately respond to and serve our members.

Ligonier, Indiana is a very unique place that embodies a special sense of community and is composed of good hearted, honest, hard working people. If you have ever been in Ligonier, you may have started your day out with a delicious donut from Creps Bakery, and then taken your children or grandchildren to experience the pumpkin fantasy land at Fashion Farm. You may have even taken a journey back in time at the Ligonier Historical Museum located in the Old Jewish Temple, then headed to the Charger House Restaurant to taste the famous fish. You may have taken time to enjoy the outdoors at G. Martin Kenny Park, and then may have finished the day with a stay at Solomon Mier Manor or Laura’s Victorian Inn.
Ligonier has much to offer, from the industrial base that provides over 3500 jobs to the local economy, to the dentists who keep the town smiling. Ligonier is home to over a dozen restaurants, many welcoming churches, and a fine recreational center. The businesses that converge to form our downtown provide a diversity of products and services to their customers. However, the greatest asset that Ligonier possesses is the people who call it home. These people have come together from different backgrounds to form an amazing town.
As the legends of Ligonier continue to remind us of our rich history, the community continues to move forward and is continually enriched by its citizens. Most recently our town has developed into a city of murals as nearly a dozen of them now grace the downtown. This was a direct result of efforts by the Future Ligonier Alliance. One of the greatest examples of the goodwill of this community is the efforts and results of Operation Foundation. Operation Foundation is an annual faith based effort composed of hundreds of volunteers that culminates in a week long clean up and restoration project.
The citizens of Ligonier are fortunate to experience Ligonier on a regular basis so we invite you to be our guest. Whether you come to Ligonier just to visit or to stay, we are certain that you will not be disappointed. It is the privilege of the Ligonier Chamber of Commerce to promote the businesses of our community. If there is any way we can be of assistance, please feel free to contact us at any time. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Sincerely,
Peggy Daniels
